Has internet access
Takes pictures
Plays music
Records video
Downloads games
Is also a stopwatch
Calculates calories
Solves math problems
Stores various information about each specific caller
I do give a shit if my phone:
Rings when someone calls
My current phone does all of the former, and sparingly the latter.

you know, I've been having that same problem with my ghetto nasty phone. I blame Cingular and Motorola for sucking.
